Togo

Lome - 19/03/03

We realise that war is looming and decide to speed up our rate of progress. If we do a country a day we can get to Cape Town by the end of the week. Almost.

Actually there is not that much to see in Togo so we decide to save our time for Niger. Togo is notable in that we do not visit the Land Rover garage there - the first capital in Africa to boast that privilege since Noukchott (which doesn't have a Land Rover Garage).

And of course it rained every day we were there.
